Belgian mobile revenues fall 2.8% in Q2
Belgian mobile operators generated service revenues of EUR 882 million in the second quarter, down 2.8 percent from a year earlier, but up 1.7 percent from the first quarter of the year. According to Telecompaper's latest quarterly report, annual growth in data services was not enough to offset the continued pressure on voice revenues, hurt by regulatory price cuts. Proximus and Mobistar both saw revenues fall 4-5 percent year-on-year, while Base was the only one to show growth, up 5 percent from a year ago
