Dutch cable broadband lines grow almost 2% in Q3 – study

The number of cable broadband connections in the Netherlands has grown by 1.8 percent during the third quarter of this year to 3.05 million on 30 September, according to Telecompaper's quarterly report on the Dutch consumer broadband market. The total broadband market increased by0.9 percent or 56,800 net additions during Q3 to reach 6.72 million lines including 3.07 million using DSL networks, which decreased by 1.3 percent during the quarter. T-Mobile sells broadband activities to CanalDigitaal owner

T-Mobile Netherlands has agreed to sell its fixed broadband activities to CDS Group, the owner of satellite pay-TV provider CanalDigitaal. Euronet, the holding company for the T-Mobile activities which operate under the brand name Online, will remain an independent company alongside CanalDigitaal.
