Relieve Mobile to stop services in March 2016

Dutch MVNO Relieve Mobile is stopping its services from 01 March 2016. Customers must use up their existing credit by 29 January and have until the end of February to port their number to another provider, the company announced on its website. De onafhankelijke MVNO Relieve Mobile stopt per 1 maart 2016 met zijn activiteiten. De MVNO had circa 200 klanten, blijkt uit gegevens van Telecompaper. Klanten hebben tot en met 29 januari 2016 nog de mogelijkheid om hun tegoed op te waarderen, zo laat de MVNO weten op zijn website. Dutch VOs attract over half million business subscribers

Dutch virtual mobile operators had around 530,000 business customers at the end of March, equal to 6.2 percent of their total customer base, according to Telecompaper's latest report on the Dutch MVNO market. Compared to the third quarter of 2014, the number of business customers at the MVNOs and virtual brands was up 5.3 percent. Ruim 530.000 zakelijke sims via virtuele aanbieder in omloop

Virtuele netwerkoperators (MVO's) hadden aan het einde van het eerste kwartaal van 2015 ruim 530.000 zakelijke simkaarten in omloop. Dat is 6,2 procent van het totale aantal sims dat zij (inclusief de second brands van MNO's) in omloop hebben. Dat staat in het halfjaarlijkse rapport van Telecompaper over de Nederlandse MVO-markt in de zes maanden tot en met maart 2015. Aantal aansluitingen zakelijke virtuele operators groeit ruim 5%

Virtuele netwerkoperators hadden aan het einde van het eerste kwartaal van 2015 ruim 530.000 zakelijke simkaarten in omloop. Dat is 6,2 procent van het totale aantal dat via een virtuele netwerkoperator (inclusief de second brands van MNO's) in omloop is gebracht. Dutch mobile revenues down slightly in Q1

Revenues of the Dutch mobile operators fell to EUR 1.23 billion in the first quarter from EUR 1.27 billion a year earlier, according to the latest figures from the regulator ACM. The report also shows a further drop in SMS and continued growth in data usage. SMS fell to 867 million messages from 912 million in the previous quarter, while voice traffic rose over the same period to 6.84 billion minutes from 6.72 billion. ACM: omzet mobiele operators gedaald in Q1

De omzet van de mobiele operators in Nederland is in het eerste kwartaal gedaald naar 1,23 miljard euro, zo blijkt uit de Telecommonitor van ACM. In Q1 2014 bedroeg de gezamenlijke omzet nog 1,27 miljard euro. In het eerste kwartaal is het aantal verstuurd sms'jes verder gedaald en het aantal belminuten en gebruikte MB's verder gestegen.

37% gebruikers KPN-netwerk zeer tevreden over mobiele dekking binnenshuis

34 procent van de Nederlanders die hun mobiele telefoon binnenshuis gebruiken (voor bellen, sms of internet) was in mei 2015 zeer tevreden met hun netwerk. Een half jaar eerder (november 2014) lag dit nog op 19 procent, zo blijkt uit onderzoek van Telecompaper. Gebruikers van het KPN-netwerk zijn het meest content met hun netwerk: 37 procent is zeer tevreden.

Daling in aanraden Telfort, Tele2 na eerdere stijging

Na een periode waarin triple play-klanten van Telfort en Tele2 hun provider vaker gingen aanraden, zakte de WoM-score de afgelopen weken weer. De WoM-score (Word-of-Mouth) geeft aan hoeveel procent van de huidige klanten een aanbieder/toestel zou aanbevelen aan anderen. Uit de laatste meting blijkt verder dat Simyo nog steeds de hoogste WoM-score heeft van alle mobiele postpaid-aanbieders.

Apple kijkt naar eigen MVNO in VS, Europa - BI

Apple zou met Amerikaanse en Europese carriers in gesprek zijn over het opzetten van een MVNO. Dat meldt Business Insider (BI) op basis van bronnen die bekend zijn met de materie. De MVNO-constructie houdt in dat Apple netwerkcapaciteit inkoopt bij providers en dat klanten eenvoudig kunnen wisselen van netwerk om de beste dienstverlening te krijgen.
