KeenSystems acquires Private Mobility

The Dutch business services provider KeenSystems has acquired the MVNE Private Mobility for an undisclosed sum, adding new white-label services for partners. KeenSystems focuses on VoIP/SIP trunking, hosted PBX, mobile telephony and connectivity services and already uses the KPN network for mobile services. With Private Mobility it gains access also to Vodafone's network.

T-Mobile cements lead on Dutch mobile market in Q2 with most new subscribers

T-Mobile took the lead again in growth on the Dutch mobile market in the second quarter. The operator gained a net 55,000 new retail mobile customers, cementing its lead on the market, according to figures compiled by Telecompaper. KPN and Vodafone also added more customers, as the market showed a recovery from some of the negative effects of the pandemic.

MVNOs down to 12.5% of Dutch mobile market, but still growing in no-frills segment

Independent MVNOs have fallen to just 12.5 percent of customers on the Dutch mobile market as of March 2021, down 4.4 percent points from a year earlier, according to the latest research from Telecompaper. The decline in market share was due mainly to the largest MVNO Simpel being acquired by T-Mobile at the end of 2020 and becoming a second brand at that operator. Excluding Simpel, the number of customers at MVNOs rose over 5 percent in the past year, led by the 'no-frills', low-cost providers.
