European consumers show high interest in iPad
Apple's iPad sold more than 1 million units in its first 28 days on the market, compared to 74 days for the iPhone to achieve the same milestone. A Telecompaper online survey among Dutch consumers aged 15 to 65 shows that more than 84% of Dutch consumers know about the iPad and almost 9 percent intend to buy the device within a year of its launch. At the same time, consumer surveys in France, Germany and Spain show that around 20 percent of adults in those countries are thinking about acquiring an iPad.
