John van Vianen will lead Ziggo-Vodafone business division

John van Vianen will from November head the business division of the merged Ziggo-Vodafone business division, Het Financieele Dagblad reported. Van Vianen has confirmed the appointment. Vodafone Netherlands targets 4G at 1 Gbps in 2017

Vodafone Netherlands is working on offering speeds up to 1 Gbps on its 4G network next year. In the past week it achieved a speed of 979.2 Mbps in a test, reports Tweakers. Vodafone Netherlands is adding EU roaming to its Red Pro business plans. From 10 October, customers can use their monthly bundle also for roaming in the EU. Red Pro Connect starts at EUR 30 per month, excluding VAT and Sim only, and offers unlimited calls and SMS and 2 GB data. Vodafone Netherlands is targeting a commercial launch of NB-IoT services in mid-2017.
