Voo launches new youth offer Zuny with broadband, VoD app

Belgian cable operator Voo has launched a new offer aimed at young people, bundling a broadband connection with an internet app offering access to premium series. The basic Zuny plan costs EUR 39 per month, or EUR 57 with a mobile plan including 300 minutes, 300 SMS and 16 GB data.

Zuny builds on Voo's premium pay-TV service BeTV, which has exclusive access to HBO series in francophone Belgium, and short videos from the Blackpills studio. The VoD app works on up to five mobile devices, Android TVs or Apple TV, with two simultaneous streams, and will feature a changing selection of titles. The broadband connection comes with unlimited data and speeds of up to 100 Mbps over Voo's cable network.

The mobile service relies on Voo's MVNO on the Orange network. In a promotional launch offer, Zuny customers taking the mobile option will get free access to Eleven Pro League, the premium TV service for access to top Belgian football, until mid-2021. The Eleven package normally costs EUR 7 per month.

Zuny comes with a mobile app to manage the subscription, where customers can add options on a monthly basis like unlimited mobile calls and SMS for EUR 5 per month, a subscription to linear TV channels for EUR 7, extra mobile data bundles, or a second mobile subscription for EUR 18 per month.

Modem, activation and installation are included in the monthly subscription price.
