Opta: 6,3 miljoen breedbandaansluitingen in Q3

Er waren op 30 september 2010 6,308 miljoen (retail-) breedbandaansluitingen in Nederland, meldt Opta op basis van de structurele marktmonitor. Het aantal retailaansluitingen is met 54.000 toegenomen. Daarvan zijn er 3,642 miljoen over DSL, een daling van 3.000 in drie maanden. Het aantal kableaansluitingen groeide met 47.000 tot 2,499 miljoen. Glasvezel kreeg er 10.000 aansluitingen bij en nam toe naar 167.000. De Nederlandse breedbandmarkt groeide met iets minder dan één procent gedurende het derde kwartaal van 2010, tot 6,19 miljoen aansluitingen. Dat blijkt uit de kwartaalrapportage van Telecompaper over de Nederlandse breedbandmarkt. Dutch broadband penetration to reach 90% in 2014

The Dutch broadband market grew by 0.9 percent compared the second quarter of 2010, to reach 6.19 million connections on 30 September 2010, according to Telecompaper's quarterly update on the Dutch broadband market. During the quarter, 52,400 net additions driven by cable (+ 47,500) and FTTH, which off-set the drop of 16,100 DSL connections during the quarter.
