CEO Delta legt functie neer

In overleg met de Raad van Commissarissen van Delta heeft CEO Peter Boerma besloten zijn functie per 1 januari 2012 neer te leggen. Boerma zal daarna voor een periode beschikbaar zijn als adviseur voor de RvC in verband met de afhandeling van een aantal dossiers. Delta is onder meer eigenaar van de Zeeuwse IPS ZeelandNet.

Dutch mobile market contracts 2.9% in Q3

The Dutch mobile industry generated EUR 1.52 billion in service revenue in the third quarter of 2011, down 2.9 percent compared to the same quarter last year and a slight drop of 0.3 percent compared to the second quarter of 2011. According to Telecompaper's quarterly mobile market monitor, the continued drop in voice revenues, due to termination rate cuts and tough competition, was the main reason for the lower service revenues. FTTH, cable drive Dutch broadband market growth in Q3

[UPDATE] The number of broadband connections in the Netherlands grew 0.9 percent in the third quarter to 6.33 million on 30 September 2011, according to Telecompaper's quarterly Dutch Broadband report. Growth was driven by a 2.2 percent increase in cable broadband subscribers and 13.3 percent growth in FTTH/B broadband subscribers, offsetting a 1.2 percent drop in DSL connections.
