This report analyses the Dutch Broadband Market based on information from iPingtest about the offered and actual down- and upload speeds to Dutch consumers. Apart from information of the actual speed of the connection, the consumers also provided information about the broadband plans they subscribe to. Based on this information we are able provide unique insight in split of customer base based on speeds, and it allow us to analyse the differences between the actual speeds as experienced by the consumer, versus the offered speeds i.e the down- and upload speed of the plan. By using this sample of the Dutch broadband population, the outcome might be biased by the type of people that install this type of software. Nevertheless, we believe this population provides a unique and unrivalled insight in the broadband market in the Netherlands.
