
Arcep consults operators on refarming 1,800MHz to LTE

French telecom regulator Arcep will consult with operators on 7 February about the refarming of 1,800MHz spectrum from 2G to 4G LTE. Bouygues Telecom, which has more 2G capacity than it uses, asked for the measure. The operator is facing opposition from Orange France, SFR and Free. Arcep said it had until the end of March to publish its decision.
