The Czech national telecommunications regulator CTU announced that seven companies have submitted applications to participate in the auction of 5G spectrum. The auction to distribute frequencies in the 700 MHz and 3,400-3,600 MHz spectrum bands included conditions aimed at encouraging newcomers on the market.
The regulator won’t disclose the names of companies at this stage.
The CTU also announced that the Prague court has rejected all appeals from operators against the conditions of the auction.
