
Netflix expands to Latin America

Netflix announced plans to expand to Latin America and the Caribbean later this year. The company will offer a monhtly subscription for unlimited streaming of TV shows and movies in 43 countries. Started in the US in 2007, Netflix also serves Canada since last year. The company said it will offer the new market a wide array of American, local and global TV shows and movies to watch on on TVs via a range of consumer electronics devices capable of streaming from Netflix, as well as on PCs, Macs and mobile devices. Customers will be able to access Netflix in Spanish, Portuguese and English. People interested in Netflix can go to the company's website to sign up to receive an e-mail from Netflix when the service launches later this year.
