Telefonica Germany is refreshing the O2 Blue tariff portfolio from 01 October. The new O2 Blue Smart tariff will replace the former O2 Blue Select entry-level tariff. Instead of a choice of flat-rate, the new tariff includes a flat-rate to the O2 and E-Plus network including all partner brands as well as 100 minutes for calls to German landlines or any other German mobile phone network. It will also offer 500 MB high-speed data on the O2 LTE network for EUR 19.99 a month. The O2 Blue Basic tariff will cost EUR 9.99 a month and offer unlimited calls within the O2 and E-Plus network including all partner brands from start-October.
The additional high-speed data volume available will be increased for tariffs M and upwards. The O2 Blue All-in M and L will offer three packs of additional 250 MB for EUR 3 each, the O2 Blue All-in XL and Premium will provide three data upgrades of 750 MB for EUR 5 each. Users of the tariffs O2 Blue Basic, O2 Blue Smart and O2 Blue All-in S will be able to get an extra 100 MB three times for EUR 2 each.
For roaming, O2 customers will be able to choose from four bundles - EU Roaming Flat (includes), EU Roaming Flat (24 months), Roaming Day Pack and Roaming Basic. The new International Packs 60 and 120 will offer 60 or 120 minutes respectively for EUR 4.99 or EUR 9.99 a month, and will charge EUR 0.15 per minute once these have been used up.
