SpaceX starts satellite internet services in Lithuania

The US-based company SpaceX has started providing its satellite internet services under the Starlink brand in Lithuania, reports Vz.lt citing Marius Skuodis, the minister of communications. According to Skuodis, 100 to 150 Mbps broadband speed will be available in the coming months.

The service isn't yet available across the country. The operator said that it would cover the capital city in 2022.

The end-user equipment costs EUR 499, plus delivery of EUR 79. A monthly subscription to the service costs EUR 99.

Earlier this June, Starlink founded its subsidiary Starlink Lithuania. Starlink Holdings Netherlands acted as the founder.
