
Vodafone Ireland to switch on 4G network on 14 October

Vodafone Ireland has confirmed the launch of 4G mobile broadband services on 14 October in six cities and 23 towns across the country. Customers will be able to get 4G mobile broadband for EUR 29.99 per month, which includes a 20 GB data allowance. Vodafone will also have a 4G smartphone offer for Christmas, and details will be announced shortly. Customers will need a 4G ready device and a 4G SIM to use the service. The current range of 4G Mobile Broadband ready devices on the Vodafone network include: the K5008Z dongle, R212 Mobile WiFi and Sony Xperia Z tablet.
