Life:) to launch new brand Lifecell - report
Mobile operator Life:) Ukraine plans to start providing its services under the new Lifecell brand, reports BizLigaNet citing sources in the Ukrainian telecommunications market. The operator plans to focus also more on corporate subscribers. The lifecell.com.ua domain was registered in September 2015 and is connected to servers of Life:) Ukraine. 

The rebranding follows the acquisition of full control of the Ukranian operator last year by Turkcell. The name Lifecell would follow a similar pattern to branding used in Turkcell's other markets. Life:) is the third-largest mobile operator in Ukraine, with over 10 million customers.

Life:) Ukraine revenues lifts 3% in Q3

Mobile operator Life:) Ukraine said third quarter revenues grew by 3.3 percent year-on-year and 10 percent quarter-on-quarter to UAH 1.183 billion. The growth rate was dampened by the elimination of Crimea operations, compared to the year before. Excluding this impact, revenues would have risen by 8.7 percent. EBITDA lifted 14 percent year-on-year and 27.2 percent quarter-on-quarter to UAH 412.5 million. Turkcell buys rest of Ukraine's Life:) for USD 100 mln

Turkcell announced an agreement to buy the rest of Ukraine mobile operator Life:) for USD 100 million from its local partner SCM Holdings. Turkcell will buy the remaining 44.96 percent in the Netherlands-based holding company Euroasia owned by SCM. Euroasia owns 100 percent of Astelit, which operates under the Life:) brand in Ukraine.
