Numericable gaat naar de beurs

De Franse kabelaar Numericable heeft bij monde van CEO Eric Denoyer laten weten het 20 tot 40 procent van het bedrijf naar de beurs te brengen. Zodoende wil Numericable zijn schuldenlast verlagen. Die bedraag momenteel 2,7 miljard euro. De beursgang zal worden begeleidt door eigenaren en private equity partijen Cinven en Carlyle. Denoyer gaf geen details over de timing van beursgang van Numericable, al schrijft Reuters dat deze mogelijk in november zal plaatsvinden.

Numericable Belgium raises peak download speed to 200 Mbps

Numericable Belgium has upgraded its top-tier internet service to offer customers peak download speeds of 200 Mbps and uploads at 8 Mbps. The 'Internet 200 Mega' service costs EUR 59.90 a month. It is also included in the EUR 69.90 'Triple Play Max' package. Numericable states that its new internet service is Belgium's fastest, doubling peak rates offered by Telenet and VOO, and four times faster than Belgacom and Scarlet.
