Netherlands shows strong increase in FTTH lines, mobile data traffic in Q2

Another 440,000 homes were passed with FTTH in the Netherlands in the second quarter of 2023, according to the latest market monitor from the regulator ACM. That takes the total fibre coverage to 6.37 million homes passed. The number of homes activated rose by 100,000 in the quarter, to 2.60 million.

Sterke stijging glasvezellijnen en mobiele data in tweede kwartaal 2023 - ACM

In het tweede kwartaal van 2023 werden er 440.000 nieuwe glasvezelverbindingen (Homes Passed, HP) aangelegd, waarmee het totaal op 6,37 miljoen uitkomt. Het aantal huishoudens met een glasvezelinternetabonnement (Homes Activated, HA) steeg tot 2,60 miljoen, een toename van 100.000 vergeleken met het vorige kwartaal. Dat heeft ACM becijferd in de telecommonitor over het tweede kwartaal van 2023.
