Dutch consumer TV revenues grow to EUR 384 million - study

The number of digital TV connections in the Netherlands rose 1.7 percent during the first quarter to 6.478 million lines, according to a study by Telecompaper. The total includes 3.67 million cable TV subscribers who also have an analogue TV connection. Almost 84 percent of all Dutch consumer TV connections use digital TV services. Telecompaper expects the number of digital TV connections to grow this year by 7.5 percent to around 6.85 million connections at year end.

Het aantal digitale tv aansluitingen in Nederland is in het eerste kwartaal met 1,7 procent toegenomen. In totaal zijn er nu 6,478 miljoen tv aansluitingen. Het betreft aansluitingen op de consumentenmarkt. Dit blijkt uit Telecompaper's kwartaalrapportage Dutch Television Market Q1 2013.
