3 Denmark unveils 40GB pack at LTE launch
3 Denmark launched a 40GB mobile broadband package (3Mobilt Bredbandspakke) on the occasion of launching its LTE network. In case the 40GB are not enough, customers may top up by 1GB, 5GB or 10GB anytime they wish. In order to get LTE speeds, customers can purchase a Huawei E392 modem at the standalone price of SEK 936 or 39 per month for 24 months. Also available is the Huawei B593 router at SEK 1,656 or SEK 69 per month over a period of 24 months. 3 Denmark's LTE service will cover 37 percent of the population at launch, and coverage will be increased to half of the population by the end of the year.

Mobile operator 3 Scandinavia has applied to the European Investment Bank for a loan of EUR 200 million to help finance the roll-out of its LTE networks in Denmark and Sweden. The EIB disclosed the loan application, but the total cost of the project was not announced. The loan application is currently under review.

3 Denmark will officially launch its 4G network in the country's largest cities on 28 September, the date when the operator will also start selling the iPhone 5.
