Google onthult Daydream View VR-bril

Google heeft de Google Daydream View VR-bril gepresenteerd. De Daydream View VR-bril volgt feitelijk de Google Cardboard op. De Google Daydream View is gemaakt van kunststof en textiel en is in dat opzicht een stuk luxer maar ook duurder dan de Google Cardboard die al verkrijgbaar was voor 10 tot 15 euro. De nieuwe Google Daydream View gaat 69 euro kosten, waarbij Google ook een draadloze controller mee levert. De controller staat draadloos in verbinding met de smartphone in de Google Daydream View VR bril.

Daydream-smartphones ZTE in VS in voorverkoop

ZTE heeft bekend gemaakt dat de smartphone Axon 7 in de VS voor 399 dollar in de voorverkoop is gegaan. De Axon 7 werd in mei van dit jaar aangekondigd en biedt ondersteuning voor Google's VR-platform Daydream. Daydream wordt aangevuld door een VR-integratie in Android, een headset met controller, en apps. 'Daydream ready'- smartphones worden verder verwacht van onder meer Huawei, HTC, LG, Asus, Alcatel en Samsung. ZTE launches Axon 7 smartphone in Europe

ZTE announced the launch of its Axon 7 smartphone in Europe, the first to support Google's virtual reality platform Daydream. Launched first in China in May, the smartphone is available now for pre-orders on Amazon for France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK at EUR 449. In the coming months, the device will also be available online on GrosBill and offline at Media Markt and Phone House.

Alcatel plans first Daydream VR phones in H1 2017

Alcatel Onetouch has confirmed plans to launch smartphones supporting Google's new Daydream virtual reality platform. The first devices will launch in the first half of 2017. ZTE unveils premium Axon 7 smartphone, VR headset

ZTE Has unveiled a new affordable high-end smartphone, the Axon 7. The device was presented in Beijing and will launch first in China. The pianist Lang Lang will serve as ambassador for the phone, which offers a number of premium audio features for music lovers. Alcatel komt in eerste helft 2017 met Daydream-ready toestel

Alcatel heeft aangekondigd dat het in de eerste helft van 2017 smartphones zal lanceren die kunnen samenwerken met Googles VR-platform Daydream. De Chinese producent stelt dat er momenteel wordt samengewerkt met Google om de best mogelijk VR-ervaring te bieden. Google toonde zijn Daydream VR-platform tijdens de recente I/O conferentie.
