Russian national operator Rostelecom has signed an agreement with the operator Scartel, working under the Yota brand, on the launch of a MVNO. Rostelecom will use Yota's LTE network in the 2,500-2,530 MHz and 2,620-2,650 MHz bands for MVNO services. Testing is planned to star in July. Rostelecom plans to launch commercial services in the Moscow region in September and in other regions later. Rostelecom plans to offer end-user devices under its own brand.
