Sectra highlights their new sovereign secure communication solutions at the Netherlands Pavilion during MWC Barcelona

Sectra, a European provider of secure communication technology, will join The Netherlands Pavilion at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona. Since 1978, the company has been delivering trusted solutions that protect confidential information for defense organizations, government agencies, and enterprises.

In fast-moving public sector operations, whether it is coordinating emergency response teams, cross-border projects, or hybrid government offices, sensitive information often needs to be shared securely outside traditional classified networks. Sectra’s newly released Tiger/E Managed Service provides a European-developed and built platform that enables authorities, municipalities, and critical-sector organizations to collaborate safely and efficiently in these challenging scenarios.

Since 1978, the company has delivered encrypted communication solutions used by defense organizations, government agencies, and critical-sector entities across Europe. Its EU- and NATO-approved products support communication up to the Top Secret classification level, with all development and production taking place within Europe to ensure technological sovereignty.

The Sectra Tiger/E Managed Service

A secure, fully managed collaboration platform designed for authorities, municipalities, and organizations that require reliable communication in sensitive but unclassified environments. The platform supports encrypted voice, video, chat, and file exchange, offering a scalable alternative to traditional classified systems.

"Sectra Tiger/E Managed Service fills a critical gap by providing a modern, service-based platform that complements existing classified systems and makes secure collaboration accessible across sectors. Secure solutions must be easily accessible as well as simple and intuitive to use—otherwise, they risk not being used at all," says Magnus Skogberg, President of Sectra Communications.

The Sectra Tiger/E Managed Service combines a hardened Samsung Knox device, a dual-environment architecture, and a quantum-resilient VPN in a service model that strengthens national resilience.

By separating two secure zones, one for sensitive collaboration and one for everyday tasks, the platform lets users work securely without losing usability or mobility. As a fully managed service, it reduces the burden on internal IT teams while ensuring high availability, end-to-end encrypted communication, strong endpoint security, and regulatory compliance.

The platform was developed to address a growing need across the public sector. Many organizations now operate outside fixed facilities, across multiple jurisdictions, or in hybrid teams where sensitive information still must be protected.

Tiger/E Managed Service is designed to complement existing classified systems rather than replace them, adding flexibility without compromising control.

By participating in the Netherlands Pavilion, Sectra aims to engage with partners across Europe and explore opportunities related to secure mobility, trusted infrastructure, and cross-border collaboration. Sectra will be at Booth CS54 during MWC Barcelona, 2–6 March 2026.
Schedule a meeting with them to discuss potential collaborations.
