Tele2 NL hires T-Mobile exec to head consumer activities

Tele2 Netherlands has hired a T-Mobile executive to become its new director of consumer activities. Raymond Perrenet comes from T-Mobile Netherlands, where he was director of consumer marketing. He has worked at the Deutsche Telekom group since 2001 in multiple functions in finance, marketing and strategy. He starts at Tele2 from April. The new director said he aims to continue the customer growth at Tele2, driven by the operator's new 4G network and renewed focus on the home broadband market.

Tele2 NL Q4: ARPU dips lower, sales down on quarterly basis, capex finally increasing

Tele2 Netherlands reported fourth-quarter results showing a notable slowdown in revenues. After four quarters of volume growth on the mobile market, price pressure led to a sequential fall in sales. The operator also finally showed some progress in getting its LTE network roll-out underway.

Tele2 NL sales up slightly, adds 62,000 mobile users

Tele2 Netherlands reported revenues of EUR 155 million for the fourth quarter, up 0.4 percent from a year earlier. Mobile revenues were up 51 percent to EUR 50 million, including a 55 percent rise in service revenue to EUR 33 million and 44 percent increase in handsets to EUR 17 million. The company continued to accelerate customer growth, adding 62,000 new mobile customers in Q4 for a total 694,000 at year-end.
